Castle Hill School Primary School, Folkestone

The school was housed in an old Victorian building which desperately needed a new lease of life.  In a partnership with the architects, GSE (main contractors) and Eco Frame Systems the school underwent a huge revamp to include refurbishment of the existing building, extension to the exisiting building and a new build.  Eco Frames were contracted to build the two storey timber frame for the stunning new build. The two storey extension connects the existing Victorian building with a previous extension to create a secure external reading courtyard with a sunken amphitheatre section shaded by a sweeping canopy.

The Headmaster, Peter Talbot says 'The school has been completely rebuilt, refurbished and redecorated over the last three years. As a result we have fantastic new buildings and resources that you would struggle to find anywhere else. The children learn in a spacious and comfortable environment and have access to a huge range of equipment and technology.'
